I own a BP6 motherboard that right now has 2 C366 PPGA processors. I have overclocked this board to 533@1.95 volts.

I am interested in putting in some faster chips but cannot figure out what they will be.

This board will not support the FC-PGA processor without some hardware modifications and I am planning on doing them.

My question is what chips should I use. I have heard many ppl's success stories with the PIII 800 mhz with the 100 MHZ FSB. I wouldn't mind putting in a couple Celeron 2 processors either as long as they still work in SMP.

If you would be so kind as to post your success stories on overclocking the FC-PGA processors and what motherboard you are using. If you are using the BP6 please give details on how you made it happen.

Thank you.

as for using the cellys that wont work they wont run in dual mode, you can use just one in it though. as for the pIII 800, you would be better off getting a PIII 700 they seam to be the king of PIII's for overclocking

See "www.bp6.com" for modifications.

What Rooster meant was that the new Celeron II processors won't run in dual mode. Intel castrated the new Cellies. Obviously, the old Cellies could run in dual mode. That pretty much limits you to P-III's and like was said, the 700 flavor chips are the overclocking king, assuming that mod works to except the P-III's. You'll almost be assured of hitting at least 933 MHz with the 700 chips. I believe the BP6 only goes up to 133 FSB, right?
