im somewhat a newbie to overclocking (ive done it in the past with the first pentiums, pentium 200mmx at 301mhz baby! :) [my record]) but im having trouble overclocking my current computer. i have a badass watercooling system with peliters. (my computer specs are a P2 400, abit VT6X4 mobo with a VIA chipset (VT82C694X and VT82C686A), and 128mb pc 133 ram.) whenever i try to raise the fsb or multiplier or voltage in the bios the computer says i have like only a pentium 133 and it wont boot windoze. i cant afford to upgrade anything right now, so my computer is finally too slow for me and im back to overclocking but i ran into a problem, could anyone help me? thanks

read the manual on your motherboard to make sure that you are setting the settings correctly. the multiplyer is locked on your chip so forget that, and i wouldnt try adjusting voltage until you need to. raise your fsb in small incriments and when it becomes unstable, then raise your voltage until you get a nice stable overclock
