I overclock my celeron 500 socket 370 and went windows start i give me a lot of error and them i put the cpu to normal speed but windows still give me a lot of error what i have to do to get my comp back to normal
Start with defrag and scan disk. You've probably disk errors from the overclock gone bad. Make sure you do it at stock speed.
A Celeron 500 won't overclock too far. maybe to 563 MHz with the FSB at 75 MHz. To run at that speed without corruption, you'll need to increase the core voltage to 2.1V or 2.2V. If your mobo or slotket can't do that, just run it at default.
A Celeron 500 isn't likely to run at the 83 MHz FSB setting because 625 MHz is just too fast for the old Mendicino core.
