i think i got the right #'s and letters up there ;)

basically i got that card. it has massive cooling, but the cooling seems shoddy to me. (doesnt appear to touch the ram)

okay, i'm basically looking for people with the same card to help me out...

1) are there any special drivers i should look into? i'm using hte ones that came with it.

2) how do i OC this beast, and what should i be 100% safe running it at? (with stock cooling)

3) whats a good cooler i put on here to replace the stock one, or are there any modifications i should look into?

4) and bios updates i should get for it?

5) what are you're thoughts on the card? its my first card since my 8meg trident blade, i have nothing to compare it to.

6) whats your max stable OC you've gotten on yours, and your cooling/mods

7) what are your STOCK 3dmark2001SE scores? OC'd scores?

8) same for 3dmark2003

thanks!

1. I use 43.00 from nVIdia. They seem to give the best performance.

2. I use CoolBits which I enter to the Registry Manually
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak]

CoolBits = DWORD = 7

NvCplEnableAGPSettingsPage = DWORD = 1

Safe is a relative term, it all depends on how hot your environment is & how good the airflow thru your case is.

3. COOLJAG JAC313C (http://1coolpc.com/jag.htm) for the GPU & ALPHA SINKS (http://1coolpc.com/sink.htm) for the Memory & the back of the GPU. Use AS Adhesive to mount the GPU & Memory HSs but frag tape for the back of the GPU.

4. Your guess is as good as mine.

5. I came from a GF2 MX 32MB so to me its awsome.

6. Stock Cooling I got THIS (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6786731)

7. Uh......... around 11,500 I think.

8. I see no point testing a DX8 card with a Benchmark developed for DX9 cards.

could you clear this up for me? i was told it had tv in and tv out, is S-video 2 way?[quote]

Let's not confuse TV out-in with Video In Video Out(ViVo). There are cables that will allow you to have 2 video inputs(1 RCA & 1 S Video) & 2 video outputs(1 RCA & 1 S Video). The card has no tuner.

VIVO Features
The innovative technologies that powers the WinFast A280 TD MyVIVO series include:

PIP(picture in picture):
One for live and the other for captured program. And master video can be alternative. The slave video can be displayed with any size and anywhere

De-Interlace:
Make the best quality for fast-motion video. No noise and flicker on the edge of motion objects

Capture Format Profile: Support friendly setting for MPEG1/MPEG2/VCD/DVD video format Supports MPEG1/MPEG2/MPEG4 video codec and MPEG3 audio codec configuration to get the smaller file size for capturing. MPEG4 codec can be download at Micro$oft Supports de-interlaced function to get high quality of motion video Bridging video to PC from VCR, camcorder, LD/VCD/DVD player
