Well I did have norton systemworks 2004 but I really got sick of it always running stuff when i didnt want it to and the whole protecting my recycling bin was making me crazy, so I uninstalled it, however I seemed to be lacking 2 gigs in hard drive space. when I did some looking around I found the norton recycler folder with 2 gigs of junk in it. now I cant delete it, it just says its in use or write protected. Now I turned off simple file sharing and I gave myself full control of the folder but it still wont let me delete it, so i ran in safe mode and still no dice. any ideas?

You might have to re-install Systemworks to remove the saved files.

If you laeve norton system works installed you can right click on the recycle bin,go down to properties and select normal recycle bin and it won't junk up your partitions with protected files.
