hey guys i need a descent NB water block

i guess they only come in one configuration?

you know with the holes on the two corners being held down with
the plastic pins through the board

any good suggestions as where to look?
the ones i have found are kinda expensive usually $40+

eBay is a good place to look sometimes and yeah for the "most" (1/2"ers) part the blocks come in 2 flavorers open chamber and "U". I would say look into passive or active aftermarket blocks there is much more choice and some are just wild like the Swiftech pin block ($40 range) and it will help keep the clutter (and restriction) of hoses down in you case.

Yeah I have to say that watercooling the chipset isn't the best idea. If you were adamant on it, I would advise the Dtek block, or the Swiftech if you don't mind the restriction.

Well, cooling the chipset isn't always a bad idea. It can help your overclock, depending on the chipset, and gets rid of fan. DTek has a pretty good chipset cooler, IMO.
