I would say the pc-100 ram is more likley to hold you back than the sticker.

AMD gives you an instant RMA if your fried chip has a sticker on the back from the retailer. so they must think it does something

Treker,
Where about is that greeny sticker located on the CPU area? Is it on the front or on the back of the HS? Yeah any stick would hold you back a little when it comes to temperature. I thing your point about holding back in terms of temperature right? yah.

Yeah exactly, I'm wondering about the temp not the memory or anything else, I've had the memory up to 142mhz in the other puter, so I'm pretty sure thats not holding me back.
I just wanted to know if the two green stickers on the top of the chip, are holding in the temps, if so, whats the safest way to remove them.. after all I'am over clocking it.. kinda voids the whole warrenty point right there.

WHAT? Unless it's directly on the core, I think you're dreaming.
as surlyjoe says - AMD reckon a sticker on the base is like a heat blanket holding it in. it COULD happen...
thou shalt fear thy sticker and leave it in tact as a constant remindet that overclocking is an evil intel must rid the world of!
