I have been looking with no luck, so i thought i would post here. Is there any kind of how-to guide on how to make a res with a submersible pump inside. Ive seen the res guide on overclockers.com, which is very good btw. But that doesnt really help me much.

Im not sure how to connect the tube to the pump and still make it water tight. Should I use two male hose barbs? And how can i make the power cable watertight as well?

A 4" cube junction box is what most people I've seen use for a res for submersible pumps, but aren't too common anymore. Some use aluminum anodized boxes like BeCooling. Hard to find them without the pumps though.

You could use a pair of barbs to connect the outlet of the pump. As for the power cord, you can use silicone sealant.
