what HSF should I buy for my PIII

an alpha, globalwin, or swiftech. Just not anything from thermaltake or anything with "orb" in the name.

alpha pep66 pal6035 etc, with the delta 38 fan

I have one of these globalwin CAK38 here - I think thats the model. It's all copper. It's heavy as hell, but looks like it could be a good performer. I suppose Ishould test it. *sigh*

It depends whether you have a slot 1 or a socket 370 CPU. If you have a slotket, then the choice is pretty easy, Alpha PEP66. For socket 370, I prefer a GlobalWin FOP32 with the 60mm fan swapped for a 80mm fan.
