Hi guys,
please I'm trying to O/C a C2 466 (now stable@525 2.20v Fsb 75) on Msi Mobo 440Bx slt1.
I've tested Fsb@83 and freeze :-( and @100 won't Post.
I've mem Pc133 cas2/3 and temp @full load is 24C.
Bios is updated at last release 3.10, thanx :-)
I have my celeron 466 running at 584.
i'm supprized you havent melted your pc. 2.2 is a high voltage for 525 mhz. at 2.2v i can post at 700mhz.
first off you some of your stuff seems wrong. its not a celeron 2. i believe the 466 is called a celeron a. also your temperature cant be right. at 2.2v your cpu is probably burning up unless you have a massive heatsink or your watercooling. i run at arround 30 degrees celcious with an alpha.
to run at 582 or whatever the actual boot number is here is some of what i did.
1. bought an alpha heatsink/fan
2. set the other components to run at 2/3 fsb speed.
3. set voltage to 2.05 which seemed to be the magic number
4. 83 fsb speed
5. i think the cas latetency is set to 5 for stability
6. i added another fan to my video card.
7. turned off video bios shadowing.
i did some other crap since i have ecc memory too. your not going to get the 100 mhz fsb speed. its cheaper to buy a new pc than to try.

Thanks for your support,
my probs are about stability, works @75-83FSB but after a while system freeze, @100 won't Post!
Temps, monitored with Mother Board Monitor 5.05, seems to be really good, it's cool, probably it's the Vga (an old Ati PCI 3D Rage II) and the PCI/AGP divider.
I've looked all the User's Manual, Bios settings and Mobo, but without results :-( can you help me?

I think it's better you look for a new cpu.
Cel466@700 very very difficult to obtain without a superb cooling. If you have it, try higher voltages, i remember i tested my cel433 at 2,2 ; 2,4 ; 2,6 ; 2,8 ; 3,0 ; 3,2 and i didn't get 650mhz. Anyway never lose hope. Hi
