ive got a abit bh6, a celeron 633 and a slocket iii, default voltage is 1.65, highest bios will let me do is 1.85, ive got the slockets jumpers set to default voltage, anyone know if set the slockets voltage to say 1.7 if the bios will think thats the default and let me goto 1.9? oh sure i could have found out in the time it took me to type this but im kind of lazy sometimes...

ok i got bored and tried it, no it dosnt work, oh well... my max voltage is still 1.85, this program cpuz still says my voltage is 1.66..., i set the slotkets voltage to 1.7 and booted with bios saying 1.65

I think you would have to clear the nvram (cmos) for the trick to work, you set the slotket for 1.7, and clear the cmos, and it should boot to your new default voltage, unless the voltage signal goes thru the slotket.
I think some slotkets allow you to overide the default volts, and frequencies.
Maybe Mr B can give you some insight on slotkets.

OK, the best thing you can do here is what I and many others have done with the BH6. Obtain the latest bios for the board . Mine was the "SS" bios. Next, (this is important) set your voltage to the highest you have available in the bios. Next flash the bios using this command line:
awdflash bh6_ss.bin /cc /cd /cp /py /sn /cks /r
Make sure you use the correct bios file. The 1.1 and later boards use a different bios file than the "SS" i think. Just substitute your bios file name for bh6_ss.bin.
When you go back in to the bios you will have higher selections. This WILL work! Let me know how you make out.

I think you will be pleased with the results. One thing I forgot to mention. If you don't gain enough voltage on the first flash, you can repeat the whole procedure again starting with setting to the highest voltage. I did this twice on my BH6 and have voltage selections up to 2.2v. Just make sure to watch your temps when running the higher voltages. You probably don't want to run above 1.85-1.9v without excellent cooling.
