i had o/c my PIII-750 to 955Mhz in order to run all benchmark include 3Dmark2000. what kind of temperature will be if it is in ideal? and in fully loaded? i'm using Alpha PEP66 in this case! now motherboard monitor showing that the temp at fully loaded are 34-35C and room temperature are 27C. is that normal?? or should i improved it? i hvn't done lapping the heat sink yet!

If what you are saying is true about the full load temps, that is great.

Dont even bother lapping the HS if you have those temps already.

nice job, those temps are very very normal.

cooller temps always bring more stability and i think its fun to tinker with cooling mods i'm allways trying to get a degree or two :)

I'm with outhouse except I battle as much with room temps as I do with CPU temps sometimes. Sometimes my MB temp is as high as 35c. Once summer comes I'll turn the AC on. Those are very good temps Lightning

I would definatly lap that Heatsink... Why throw away a degree or 2 of cooling that is being offered to you, just because you dont *really* need it.

Cooler is better, take all that you can!

Just think... Lapping is about the only cooling mod you can do that WONT make your system louder :-)

[Nevermind the water cooling stuff.. lol]
