View Full Version : VP6 w/ P3 700
I've two cumine 700 (100FSB) on a VP6. I tried to oc it to 110FSB. Everything under Win98 and W2k works fine except I couldn't map a drive on my server. Seems like the NIC won't work properly if the PCI bus speed is over spec. Any ideas to fix?
I've heard of NIC's that hold people back...
Here's a link that might help though:

Good luck!

Go higher! 700Es ought t go to 124 FSB where the PCI multiplier is 1/4 instead of 1/3. That way you'll be underclocking your PCI bus instead of overclocking. The closer you get to 133 FSB the closer your PCI is to standard value.
