I was just curious of how many GHZ of P4 or Athlon XP it would take to get Team 32 to number one on the folding charts. Does anyone have any kind of a rough estimate?

Well if I recall #1 is all those people who never enter a team number so we will never be number 1 afaik. To get to 2nd hummmm my guess is about 1000-1500ghz for a week might get us there but then again this is just a guess.

It'll take a LOT longer than a week to make up a 50,000 point per DAY gap, even with 1000 Ghz.

we have what.. 2000 cpu's working now? assuming the average is around 1ghz adding 1000 more 1ghz cpus would increase our output to around 90-95k ppd. still about 20-25k ppd behind [H]

Take Plext out of AU and put his PPD on our team... how long would it take us to overtake the [H]? I'm going to sleep, otherwise I'd do the amazingly complex math required to figure that out =p.

Why are we seperate from OC AU? Aren't we basically the same except they are in AU? We should get some representatives to form a combined team or something. Are Australians somehow different from the overclockers of the rest of the world? Why are there two different sites for the two, for that matter?

Two totally different websites...

Sorta like if you had an American site called vonkaar-worship.com, you would expect the Aussies to counter with a vonkaar-worship.au . Same concept, different countries. I think we always refer to each other as 'sister' sites, but AFAIK, they are two seperate entities.

Actually, Overclockers AU has become demoralised now its lost 1st place. We only have to increase production by about 12% to get even with their PPW.
