MY 633 Celeron is at 950MHZ!!!!!! My DFi board does not allow voltage changes. Its detects the cpu's voltage, however, DFI's default voltage assign for thie cpu is 1.76v. So I had some headroom. I just set my fsb to 100, and its running at 1.76v w a GORB. Not a single error yet, and Im surfin the net on icq, and many backround apps running. THIS ROCKS!!
Now if only I could get 1ghz. =)
Also with the GORB, my idle temp is 24-28c, and after coming from Flash Point Operation its around 35. Plus or minus a few degrees. This chip MUST be able to reach 1ghz. Can't wait to try it on my BE6-2.

If you've made it that far at default voltage, you're a lock for a Gig.....maybe even 1.1GHz

Nice chip, you got one of the REALLY GOOD ones!!!!

That'll blow my 600@1053 out of the water, easy. Get that on a mb that supports vcore adjustments, and bump the vcore a bit at a time.

Can't wait to see these benchmarks.......sweet.

*update* watch those temps with the Gorb, and consider stepping up to an Alpha hsf. I did on my C600, and dropped 8c from my load temp, and gained 4 FSB, too.

Eh, Mr.B I have run many benchmarks.

In sandra I get

2563-MIPS
1276-MFLOPS

Thats GREAT. At first, I was didn't think I would get past 800mhz on 1.76v. Default for this cpu is 1.7v right, so I knew I was out of luck. Just for the heck of it, I tried 100mhz fsb and it booted, I've been up for 15-20 minutes, and havn't recieved a single error yet. DAMMIT I love this cpu.
I own an ABIT BE6-2, so Im gonna through this in it, and see if I can get 1ghz +. FINALLY, after 1 yr, I can have my GHz DREAM!!!

My 600@1053 got scores of 2861/1424 on those tests. I'll wager by the time you're done, you see 3000/1500.

Cheers!

my 666 will post at 1000mhz and needs an extra .1 volt to be stable. Yet no matter what cooling and voltage I chuck at it - it won't go any higher!

My C600@945 was like that. Needed 1.9v to get to 945, and then no matter how much more you tried, it just wouldn't budge from there. I tried up to 2.05v, and nothing doin'......

you got lucky... hopefully you will get further than i did.
my C2 633 did 950 right out of the box @ defualt voltage of 1.65V
its an old cBo.. .but the thing that sucked about it was to hit 1000 i needed 1.85V 1020 i needed 1.95V, and that is as far as i could go. (stable)
i can post at 1054 though :-)

so best of lucky with tha CPU

cCO celeron 600@900mhz with 1.55v, thats 0.15v below default voltage for 600mhz, 1.01ghz needed 1.9v last time I checked, lost my slocket manual and can't remember the jumper settings though so I can't change them till I find it unless someone knows if asus keeps the settings on it's site or would scan them in and send them me
it's an asus s370-dl

cheers mate, I wish I had written down the settings for sub 1.5v voltages, I'll just have to try and work them out again, I think there the same as intels vid specification so I'll have a read of that
