btw let me know what ya think of my puter and if i made the right choices

looks like you have a nice system.....

what vcore are you running your CPU??? (voltage)
what temps are you running at full lode?

you can use "Prime95" to test for stability.....
run the turture test for 24hrs to see if it stops.
if it doesn't then your CPU OC is stable.

try to keep temps under 50c at full lode...
and don't go past 1.65vcore if your not at least water cooling...
are you running with the stock HSF? (heat sink and fan)

Your system looks great, nice board, video card and all. So what was your question again. Did you want to know if you can go some more without having to worry about your system being overheating. What is your cpu and system temperature? With the Asus board you might not want your temp to rise up above 50C, and make sure your not raising to much on the vcore part(for stock cooling, I would say try not to go above 1.65v). Below is a little guide about overclocking and that you might want to read and get the idea of how OCing goes. Good Luck and post back if you need further help.

Here yah go:http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=263753

edit:I was just 1 min behind mica and we're suggesting almost the exact same thing. I thought it's pretty funny...LOL

i belive i'm running under 50 on a full load now and my vcore at the moment is 1.58V

and i'm just wondering about what speeds and stuff i can get to with stocking cooling and running 100% stable
want that for my processor, ram and video card
and yes its stock heatsink.......cant find the thermalright one here so gonna have to order it online
stock cooling for everything

Sorry, none of us here could guess what will be your max speed for your processor. Every single one are different, some like more voltage and some don't, so it come down to you just have to test them out yourself. Install the Asus probe that come in the CD of your motherboard, that program will give you the reading of your voltage, temp, and fan rpm. Let us know what it show on the probe.

i dont want the max speed i can guess that from reading the results you guys post
i just want some ideas of what speeds i can get, at what temps and what vcore rateings
just a general idea and the basic advice on how to achive those scores

well testing is part of the game, so use Prime95 and 3dmark01 (looping) to test for stability.

take things slow for now, and just go up 5fsb at a time...
then run prime95 for about 1hr and bump up that CPU some more.
only give more voltage if prime95 stops befor your 1hr is up.
again, never go past 1.65vcore or 50c at full lode.

once you find what seems like your max OC, run 3dmark01 with looping, for 2hrs.....no crashing? good.
now run prim95 for 24hrs to fully test your OCed CPU.
still running? good. your done. injoy your new OCed rig.
