Hey OC'ers
Right now, I've got a celly 366 on an Asus p3bf mobo that's been running rock solid at 550 for about 18 mos. I sanded it, got an alpha fan, the works. I'm thinking of upgrading, even though it still runs all my games fine. You know, need for speed. I currently also have a V3 3500 TV video card and 128 MB of 133 capable SDRAM (it's marked 6 ns) I would like to keep the motherboard for now, so that leaves me with slightly limited options, but I'm trying to keep cost down.
Anyone have experience running Celly2's on slot adapters and BX boards? would a P3 750 be a significantly better performer, even if I couldn't get the clockspeed up as high? 1 Ghz is a tenative mark to hit, does anyone have exp w/ celly 666's or P3 750's?
Would more ram or a Gforce be a better upgrade? I think the bottleneck is the CPU right now
Thanks for all replies
Peace

-->> Yes... GF2 will make the difference.

-->> Yes... P3 700 would be good. and GF2 will still give you effective performance boost even with your current Celery setup. Forget the RAM at the mo...

Peace
