I wish to use an all SATA drive setup on a P4C 800E Deluxe.
Can a SATA Raptor 74G HD containing the OS be used with a separate SATA mirror raid array (2 X160G SATA Seagates) simultaenously.
Which controller is most suitable for each function and ensures
the Raptor is the boot drive.
Can any one with experience pls advise.

Hmmm... I am using 1 of my SATA plugs, for Windows on 36gb raptor... using IDE Raid for my raid 0.... Haven't tried SATA Raid on this mobo... But on others I found the Intel SATA to work just fine. So I am gona go for that. The boot drive isn't a Problem. Just make sure that In the Bios you put it first.
(thou a annoying problem I found with SATA boot... When SATA is set to boot, then you add another HD, it rests the boot drive... very annoying but shouldn't cause problems...)

yes its just a matter of setting it the in bios.. theres an option that u can use sata on raid...
