PAT(?) enable/disable

Here's a quick one......what does PAT stand for / mean. And what is the function, why would it disable after a certain FSB oc? Thanks

PAT = Performance Acceleration Technology (PAT)
PAT = will boost a 5-7% performance improvement on ur system
"why would it disable after a certain FSB oc?" In my opinion, i think its a bug and still being solve by the mobo manufacturers...
BUT there are some bios hacks that enables pat even on a higher FSB but would only run at 1:1

Not sure what chipset is on your mobo. If it's an 875, PAT should be always on unless you disable it. If it's an 865, then it doesn't support PAT.
