View Full Version : Overclocking a Dual PIII ?
I've plans on buyning a Dual PIII 1000MHz with ASUS CUV4X-DLS Mainboard http://www.asus.com/products/Motherboard/pentiumpro/cuv4x-dls/index.html really nice one. I can spend allmost how mutch money i want on this computer cause im not payning, but a dual p3 i think would be most fun to try clockning, or ? *evilgrin*
Anyone that has experience with dual cpu clockning ?
What to think of and any good results ?
Tim is one of our resident dual proc experts and has lots of success overclocking them. Also, consider the Abit VP6 motherboard, it's really nice.

just make shure you buy the processors at the same time and from the same place
I seem to recall that one of the Asus boards didn't allow much Vcore adjustment- I think it was their dualie, but I'm not positive. It certainly wasn't enough adjustment to get the most out of the cpus.
I have 2 VP6 boards running PIII-700s at 1GHz without any problems and recommend them highly. I don't have experience with the Asus board.
