I have a PIII (socket 370) 700mhz with cB0 stepping. I know that if I put the FSB at 133 I can get about 930mhz. However, if I go beyond that with regular pc133 RAM, would it be stable? Or, if I got pc150 RAM, how far could I overclock the FSB with it running stable? I want to use it for 3d games and things like that. So basically, is the PC150 RAM worth it? If so, what do you think is the best value on this RAM and where to get it? Thanks

yes... the PC133's can run at higher than 133mhz bus and be well stable. Many PC133's can do it very easily. and not all PC150 overclock very well. Based on my experience with Mushkin PC150 and the rest of many PC133 RAM, some PC133 including Mushkin PC133 Rev3 overclocked higher and stable than my Mushkin PC150. They all perform vary depending on their quality and your hardware setup, so it's hard to say exactly which is better.

also don't be too sure that all you have is pc133, many manufacturers use pc125 as pc100, and the pc133 dimms I have are rated at 7ns which is 143mhz which with a 700e would be enough to take me to 1ghz without increasing the io voltage
