finally got my celeron 633 to 950, i had to goto 1.95v, how safe is that voltage?, ive got a fop38 on it, my case cooling isnt the greatest, got a weak little fan in the front, a pretty strong one on the front side up top near the HD's cuz its the only place it would fit, and right now the other side of my case isnt on, 1.85v i get a windows protection error after the windows loading screen, 1.9 i get to see the desktop but something will crash it immediatly afterwards, 1.95 im soo far running with no problems, havent tried any games yet.

1.95 is ok. Im running my Celeron 633 @ 1007Mhz at 1.95v. Im using a Golden Orb right now. My Alpha PEP/66 won't fit in my case. Dammit.

i have no idea what my temp is, ive got a abit bh6, and ya the reflashing trick to get over 1.85 works, i was quite pleased
I knew you'd like that voltage trick. I actually had to burn my Celly II 600 in for about two weeks using 2.0v while running at 600.This seemed to help me lower the voltage. Also the most important discovery I made is it may matter which slocket you use. I was using an Abit which would run everything stable at 1.95v except Prime95 would always crash. I switched to an MSI 6905 Master and everything was stable and I was also able to drop the voltage down to 1.9v. What sloket are you using?

Find your ABIT CD that came with the motherboard, and in the Utilities or Tools menu you will find a program called VIAhm. Install it, and it will tell you your CPU and board temperatures, and the speed of the fan.
