I'm gratefull for all advises about a Slotket and not Slot 1, for teaching me to bump up a voltage, e.c.t.
It needed only to rise from 1.70 to 1.80 in order to successfully post and run 3DMark 2000 for 30 min without lockups.
Even my memory (128 pc 100 from micron ) did well.
Well' still with case open, but idle temp. 26 degrees, and after running 30 min. 3dMark 2000 - 33 degrees.
All with Intel hotsink/fan!!!
The chip is cBo stepping.
I'm going to stop here, since 133 is max for my MOBO.

Congratulations! The slotket is a wonderful thing. It can turn any mobo into an instant overclocker.

Well, it seems that thinks are a little bit more complicated than I thought...

1. When I turn on the comp. it tooks him time to POST, or it don't POST at all untill I press RESET button. Then it loads Windows e.c.t.

2. I run 3dMark 2000 benchmark and demo without lockups, and the temp :
idle-27, load-32-34.
But 3dMark 2001 feezes after 3 min either in demo or benchmark (it isn't comprtibility problem , I run it before @ 112MHZ FSB.), and the temp. is still 35 degrees.
Sounds like what to you?
Voltage?
Overheat?
Memory?
Should I do Burn in?
What alternative to Seti and Prime95 do I have? Is running 3dMark 2001 loop demo enough?
What is Q3A command for loopdemo....
Thanks in advance.
