I'm a gamer, gaming flows through my blood. Just to give you an idea how i use my pc =D
Whats best in this situation? Tight timings or high FSB?

most of the fellows run 5/4 with tight timings, cause the original pc4000 was really expensive,.but running 1-1 with loose timings is good too, cause u can get decent pc4000 for pretty cheap now..

i under stand that running 5:4 gives u more overclockablity and 1:1 doesnt. But what is better? for example i play games what would u guys think i should be running?

I've tried both. OCA PC4000 and OCZ PC3500 LTd. Ed. and the PC3500 which run at 2-2-2-5 'feel' more snappier. Benchmark wise the PC4000 did better at synthetic tests but the PC3500 was better at 'real' world apps. ie: PiFast, Games.

it depends on what applications you use. if you use apps that stream a lot of data at once (video editing / big Photoshop stuff), then a high FSB is your best bet... but if you use apps w/ lots of random, small accesses (i.e. games), then tighter settings will give you a snappier performance... if you do both, then try to strike a balance / decide on your priorities ;)
