hey!
i've got an ASUS CUSL2 MoBo, with an Pentium 111
800 eb ovrclkd to 1.125 Gigahertz, i am running Windows 2000 Advanced Server while running the Asus P.C. probe (Temperature,Voltage,Fan Monitors)
i have heard from 1 person that my P.C. Probe cannot be trusted, that i should rely on the temperature reading from BIOS during boot up.
My feeling on this matter is that....Asus MAKES the damn MoBo along with the P.C. Probe....i mean it's not like my Temp. monitoring is a third party utility that can sometimes be misinforming.

SHOULD i rely on the P.C. probe for the Temperature rreading of my MAJORLY ovrclkd Processor

The CURRENT ASUS PC PROBE has no problem.

Ppl use to complain that the Pc probe showed wrong temp, well I got the CURRENT version 2.12.09 and the temp monitor is the same as Motherboard Monitor 5 in every way, expect PC Probe is a lot easier to navigate around.

It was the old version that gave wrong temps.

So you should be fine with the current version.

Also love the Software Cooling feature of Pc Probe, cool the CPU down when overheated.
