I've got my Celery 566 @ 933 using 1.95v. I can run Folding@Home and SETI@Home together @ 100% CPU utilization until the cows come home, but as soon as I do multimedia or games (even streaming video over the 'Net) my PC freezes after 1-2 minutes.
I'm using a lapped GORB, an ABIT !!! sloket adapter (about a year old), and I know my memory is good up to 120MHz. Why only multimedia/games freezing???
Thanks...

Sounds like a video problem to me. Try reinstalling video drivers and maybe directx. If you are able to run SETI and Folding at home I don't think it is your CPU causing the problem

Hmmmm.... OK, thanks. Maybe I'll try a different version of the nVidia ref. drivers. I'm currently on 6.50 - anyone know if any particular version is more tolerant of overclocking?

It may not be your drivers. I used the Det3 6.50 for quite a while with no probs. Which card ya got? Do ya have a fan mounted on it? Are ya oc'ing the vid card? What is your AGP divisor set at?

I have a GF2MX (Asus). It is overclocked to 200/200. My AGP divider is 2/3. It has a slot fan (exhausts out of case) beside it, but no fan on heatsinc.
I just opened my case and pointed another fan at my vid card. It ran 3DMark for 35 minutes before freezing up.
So it would seem that my vid card is getting too hot and causing the freeze ups - since my CPU can run for days at 100%.
I will try to verify this by running the GF2MX at stock speed and closing up my case again.

That may be the problem (Heat) but it may also just be part of the problem, could be your overclocking and heat, but I take it you've had the card stable at that speed before?
If so then it could be the added heat in the case from your o/ced processor, I'd look into both.
Good Luck

Yep, sounds like ya need some overall cooling. Get some GOOD airflow thru that case. At least a decent intake lower front and exhaust upper rear. I have 2 120mm & 1 80mm intake, 1 120mm & 2 80mm exhaust in cojunction with the Delta on my HS, a 486 fan mounted on the vid and of course the exhaust fan in the PSU. Ya can't keep it too cool :)

Looks like it's not going to happen - she just won't do 3D @ 933MHz. The best I could get was 1/2 hr with the case cover off AND additional fans blowing in. Even tried upping the IO voltage on the MB.
Thanks for all your suggestions...
