My current heatsink is from Zalman. I forgot the part number, but it does not matter. The point is, I don't really like it.

I need a new heatsink to achieve better cooling. But I always move my computer around for network gaming and I don't want the heatsink to snap off while I move the computer. AMD's cpu has a tolerance of around 300g. I heard that the 300g is the tolerance for the socket to hold onto the heatsink, not the weight that the CPU can handle.

Can someone please recommend me a good heatsink for network gaming? I don't want to remove my heatsink everytime I move my computer. Thanks.

Well you should look into heatsinks that use the motherboard holes to attach to the CPU, the best one around right now it the Thermalright SP-97

I agree - a late model heatsink from Thermalright is hard to beat.
