Hey everyone. I have 3x512mb of OCZ 2700 and I have it pretty well overclocked. Its currently running at 380mhz with timings of 6-2-2-2t. Memtest tells me its running @ 1400mb/s. It passed a full run of memtest (including test #5) and so far hasnt cuased any restarts but i'm concerned about the temperature. Each stick only has its stock spreaders. My question is how hot is too hot and how can i check the temps?

I was just wondering if you have tried with only 2 modules installed and compared your benchmarks? With the three modules installed you lose the benefit of Dual Channel, although it is a lot less profound on NForce2 systems than on Pentium 4 systems.
In order to gauge the memory temperature you can use a thin temperature probe such as the one available on the Digidoc 5. Any drivebay temperature monitor will come with one.
I don't think the memory will be too hot, but keep in mind that you are overclocking the modules and that you need to take caution as you would with any overclocking venture.
what revision u got, i have 3.2 here and i can take mine about 460mhz with 2-3-3-X @ stock volts , i also run dual channel :)

Actually i tested with 2 modules and it ran at about 850mb/s which would be single channel. So i'm positive that all three are running dual channel (about 1200mb/s non OCed).
As for what revision i have i'm not sure. Where can i check?
I forgot to mention that i'm running 2.8 volts (memtest finds faults if i use lower voltage)

UPDATE:
Well I've been messing around with diff timings at 400fsb and the best i could get that didnt F-up in memtest was a speed of 1485mb/s with timings of 7-3-2-2T and a voltage of 2.8.
I have 2 256MB sticks of OCZ Enhanced Latency PC2700 running at 227MHz (DDR454) at 2.5-3-3-8 timings on 2.8v. I pulled off the heatspreaders and found stickers that said "OCZ Premier Series PC3500" underneath. :D

Nice overclock. Too host is when things start go wrong and restart. Kepp pushing up up until then. You have overclocking ram.
whats your serial numbers on the chips, mine are,

X4W560840A-50 , keep in mind these are 5ns chips
