SEE CORRECTION AT BOTTOM!

I just bought a P3 700 OEM processor. I was told it was a SL4C3 S-spec number. I thought "great, a cC0!" Anyway, I have received the processor and can't tell if it is even genuine. It has no markings on it whatsoever to indicate what processor this is. It doesn't show the speed, voltage, s-scec, bus speed, cache size, voltage, anything. It does have a white sticker saying warranty will be void if removed. The white sticker also includes "PIII700ESECC".

On the left edge of the opposite side of the silicon die, it has a white "intel" coating applied to the board. It also has "0039" and "NM2 94V-0" on the very edge. On the same side but the right edge it says "PB 746509-001".

Some help would be appreciated.

CORRECTION...

I found the markings. I didn't realize the markings were actually on the plastic case. I was looking on the board itself.

I installed the CPU w/ Alpha P3125 heatsink and booted up immedietely at 933 at default 1.7 volts. I had to remove my PC100 RAM and leave in the single 128 MB stick of PC133 RAM. I ran the Intel CPU ID utility and verified it is a 700 of the 0686 classification.

I have a Abit BX6 Rev. 2 and am running motherboard monitor 5.X. I'm at 95 F for the CPU and 102 F for the case temp. With my old Celeron 300A at 450 I was at 90 F something case temp and 105 F CPU temp.

I'm pleased with this CPU.

CPU Z will answer if it is originally meant to clock at 700 and if it is cB0 or cC0.
