windows 64 bit server

Ok i've signed up and downloaded it and keep getting this crap about nothing wanting to install. Every time it says something about the installers don't work or something doesn't see it blah blah blah. The whole point of windows 2k3 64 was that it was suppose to be able to run both 32bit and 64bit applications. Is there something anyone can add to this. So far i can't get extigy sound drivers, ATI drivers, and a few other programs to install.

You are talking about 2 different things. Drivers vs applications (when you say 32bit and 64bit APPLICATIONS) Drivers aren't applications. It is most likely the 'drivers' you are trying to install aren't compatible yet with with W/2k3- 64. To repeat - 'Drivers' aren't 'Applications'

yes, he's right. I noticed on nvidia's website that they have a seperate download for 64 bit drivers.

I still figured that ANYTHING on a 32bit system should work on a 64bit system. I wasn't saying that drivers are applications I was implying drivers and applications. Such ans alcohol 120% and other things wouldn't install.
