Well I bought a KT7-A and a 2400+ today and it runs great on the mobo except it is locked. It seems to max around 2.2GHz on ~1.75v. Not that great. I need really good ram to get it higher I think on this old 133MHz bus board. It is for my freind and he could only afford the $35 for the mobo and the $99 for the proc locally. DDR would have been out of the question. He went from a 800MHz PIII on sdram(which was reused) to this 2.2GHz + XP. Pretty big difference and he is happy. I know nforce2 and dcddr would have been ideal but this got the FPS up in UT2k3 just fine.

Any suggestions on the best 4 in 1's for stability not necessarily performence?

The complete marking on the chip are,

Are the temps being read from the on die thermistor or the mobo thermistor under the CPU? I get three temp readings for this system. One is auxiliary and it is the highest so I figure that is the on die thermistor but I could be totally wrong. If it is simply reading under the chip is there a wat to mod the KT7-A by connecting some pins to the thermistor contacts under the CPU to read the true core temps?
