in my i set my vcore to 1.65v but on asus probe it moves up and down when on load 1.56v-1.7v why does it do this and is there any way to fix it

yes there is a solution but you better have a STEADY HAND!!

(ever play that game "OPERATION" as a kid??):p

do a search for "P4C800 droop mod" either here on OCF or on
google.gif
and you will see what to do...

good luck

or you could just do what I did and set it to 1.600v which is the magically most stable vcore on this particular mobo...

Yep, the optimum vcore "steps" I found on *my* P4C800-E Del. are:

1.5625
1.6
1.7

The settings in between those steps droop too much under load to be usable in their intended granularity in my particular config.

the flactuating vcore with this brand of mobo is normal according to a thread which im still looking for the link right now :)
