What does everyone else recommend? Experiences? I have the antec 400SL and it's sort of struggling. It's not bad but I like too see better. 3.3 rail will dip to 3.18 under load overclocked. 12 volt is bit low. 5 volt isnt bad at all.

Like to get something that I can tweak the rails some. I know antec true control does but really, I can do without the beige front panel control. Seems to me thats all your paying extra for. Beginning to wonder if $109 US is worth it since I bought the 400SL at $79 US thinking it would be good. My old cheap ugly codegen 450 does a better job.

What about the super flower 550?

Antec and Fortron get recommended b/c they tend to be consistently of higher quality than no-name PSUs. Are the voltage measurements taken by software or did you use a multimeter? I'd bet if they were software measurements, using a multimeter would show they're spot on.

As for the Super Flower PSUs, I've used a few; they're basically re-badged TTGI PSUs and are decent however, I had a 420w unit that strained to power a stock 1800 system (HTPC). They're pretty quiet though.

I used a multimeter. I thought that was the case at first but checked with my multimeter and they were a bit on the low side.

Look no further than this (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-104-968&catalog=58&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=0). It's just about the most powerful unit short of $200, and has adjustable pots, and runs silent.

LOL, they must be on sale because it's only $67.00 right now! ;)

You must've linked the wrong product, but Fortron 530s are very good.

Did you mean this (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-103-447&catalog=58&depa=1) one?

Yep ... that fsp530w is a geat deal. :)

When I bought my $62 Fortron 400w last year the 530w were
$85 plus shipping. Now they are the same price!
