I overclocked my 2500+ to 11 x 200 = Athlon XP 3200+
not very hard but i got it to run stable at 1.575v (stock 1.65v) so i have absolutely no heatissues in my shuttle.

stock temps: idle 41° / load 46°
o/c temps: idle 40° / load 45°

laugh at me if u want but im pleased.

im running my Corsair TwinX 3200 LL @ 2-3-2-11 atm. are those timings ok or could u give me some advice to improve performance

greets

Sounds like you got yourself a $200.00+ chip for $90.00 then, that a great overclock and an excellant start, those 2500+ will go pretty high so keep playing and see how well you do. Oh and

ok i worked my way up to 210 x 11 @ 1.65v

i ran prime95 @ priority 10 and the custom "Blend" torure test failed on me after 4 hours 55 mins.

here is my question. is this acceptable since i use my computer for gaming only or is this too instable ? cpu load temp was 48°

what would u guys do, leave it as it is or up the voltage by 0,025 and give it another go ? i could prolly stay under my 50° limit with the additional voltage.

thx for your help

id leave it as it is. and 2310MHz is a good oc what are you using for cooling ?

umm, there are 2 schools of thought on the whole instability issue, i'm on the side of, if it's not stable 24+hours, it's not stable, so make it, i wouldn't run an unstable computer, never know what will happen in windows registry due to the instability, i've had it turn all ascii into weird characters, crazy

i'd stay at 11x200, but i think you can tighten those timings from 11 to 7-2-2-2t w/ no problem

you're using a shuttle, right? no need to risk cooking your processor w/ the cooling they use
