I have the following cpu as a spare:

DHD1000AMT1B
AHHAA0145APBW

I briefly tried it today and could not get it to post at 200 x 5 (works fine at 100 x 10). Should this cpu be mult. locked? Yes, ram is DDR400. Check sig for system I tried it in.

Thanks.

It's an old-school chip! :) Connect the L1 bridges with pencil lead and you'll unlock the multipliers.

Yup, just like the Athlon XP Palomino, you'll have to connect all the L1 bridges to unlock the multiplyer for a morgan Duron.

OMG, are you kidding? Is it that retardedly easy? AMD must not have been thinking too much when they thought about locking the multi. lol

At that time, they didn't care as much. The Athlon was biting off chunks of Pentium marketshare and the Duron was doing the same to the Celeron market. They were very OC-friendly back then.

Very OC firendly? That must have been nice, it has all gone down the drain now... how many chips does AMD have that are unlocked (multi as well) anymore?

Just one line, the FX chips.

Thanks guys. Not worth the effort right now. If I ever have a catastrophic failure with my 2200+, I'll dust the Morgan off again.
