Alright, well I started lapping my NB on my Epox 8RDA+ V2.1
After a while I did notice that the edges were starting to sand down, but not the center, showing that the chip was indeed very concave. Anyways, I've been going at it a while now with a small piece of glass as my sanding block, using 320 Grit paper, and I'm not really getting that far. Now I hear that the NB's on the newer revisions are all plastic and that you shouldn't lap them at all???
What do I do now?

why would you need to lap it at all? the nb generally doesnt have cooling issues. So I say leave it be
just slap on some paste, you dont have to worry about over doing the nb like a CPU...
I have the 8rda+ and have two Zelmans im going to attach..

It does if you run 2.0V through it. :)

Yeah, that's why I wanted to lap it, but after lapping for a while, I don't seem to be hitting any copper, or getting very far into whatever the thing is made of. I've heard the newer ones are made completely of plastic and shouldn't be lapped, is this true? Basically, I still have lettering in the center of the NB and I want to lap until the lettering is completely gone, as it already is around the edges, but I don't want to kill the board.
It's not copper it's some sort of ceramic. You should be able to lap it until all the lettering is gone. I'd use a higher grit just so I wouldn't take so much off. Good luck.

Wouldnt know much about it...sorry. All I know is just get it to where the lettering is pretty much gone and you'll be fine. You don't need to see copper (is there even copper UNDER the lettering?)
Just put a nice waterblock on the NB and you'll be fine.
