I have some Kingston PC2700 ValueRam on an Asus A7N8X with the latest bios update. My mobo only lets me increase my memory frequency from 144mhz to 173mhz. Is it safe to do this, or can my memory not handle this? It's got Micron chips on it, too bad I didn't get the Infineons! How far have you fellow ValueRam Micron owners pushed yours? Thanks in advance.

yep... i'd say start w/ 166 (it's rated for that), and knock it up 2 MHz at a time, until you can't boot into windows (you get a blue screen, or the computer just restarts b4 booting in)... then knock it back a few MHz, and start testing for stability ;)
