Heres my dilemma; (specs are in signature) I'm trying to break the 1 gig mark with my P3800e. I can get it to 992 (124 x 41). When I try to take the next step( 133 x 33.25) it will not POST. I've tried voltages 1.65-->1.95 still no go. Tried boosting IO voltage and it WILL NOT post. As soon as I drop back to 124 it works. Have I pushed this chip as far as it will go or what???? Could my MB be holding me back??
I have the same cpu runs rock solid with standard voltage at 126fsb-1008 but 133 I have to go to 1.8 to get a boot then it wont stay stable for more than 20mins.
I have seen some with the 800 that had to use pelitiers just to get to 1008.
I would say it is the max for your chip unless your willing to go to extreme cooling measures.

anybody else have any thoughts.... :'(
800e picks out at about 1gig.
unless u had really good cooing.
on my cusl2 with 850e.
i could only manage just above 1gig and that was with pelt+PEP66+2x80mm fans(sucking)+1x60mm delta (blowing) with 80W pelt.
have to keep it under 10degC to be usable.
and that was with 1.95v.
GOD...

you may simply have a bad chip. It's always luck of the draw with overclocking. I say bad, but you've done better than I did with my ****ty 650E; that would barely make it to 800. now THAT'S a bad chip.
check the serial number in the cpu database and see if others have got your cpu at a higher speed...

Just thought of a few more things is there a setting so that you can run 133 by one quarter? and do you have another hard drive you could swap temporarly just to see if thats whats holding you back [i dought it but it might be worth a shot] also some chips can take any where from two weeks to two months to burn in to there full capacity. once my pc gets at 133 it automaticaly sets to one quarter for the pci divider.
