If I burn in for a couple of minutes at 667 mhz at 2.0 v.
If I reboot at 100fsb immediately it boots to 1002ghz. Run sandra burn in for no set amount of time everything seems fine. Temps at around 45-50c. If I shut down for a couple of minutes and restart it will not boot at 100 fsb no matter what the voltage is set at. I don't think it's a heat problem because it will boot at 1002 ghz when hot but not cold. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
I have burned in overnight but same thing happens.

Try increasing the vio voltage slightly.
Resistance is increased when going from off to on vs reboot.
Its kind of like if you run a 12v fan at 7v it may not start everytime but once it starts it can run at 7v with no problem.

I'm not sure what the vio voltage is. Is it the voltage to cpu? If it is I have it at 2.0v

Some Asus boards have a quirk in the bios that makes them try to boot at the default Vcore, regardless of the settings you select. After it posts, you can reset it and it will then boot with the Vcore you set, and will run. I'm not sure which boards did this, but I think it is many of them. Daniel knows the details and can give you the straight scoop.

No vio is the voltage to the memory, agp bus, ect.
Normally I would say raise the vcore but you say its already high.
Since your using a slotket maybe that would also cause a similar problem as Tim described.
Do you set your vcore with the slotket or thru the motherboard-bios?

It is set thru bios.

If your slotket allows voltage asjustment try setting it on the slotket and set the bios setting to normal.

No voltage adjustment on slot adapter.
Should I set the slot adapter jumpers on 66 or 100 mhz? There is also auto.

Auto.
It would seem to me that a problem like Tim described would be fixed with a bios upgrade.
Check with asus to see if you have the latest bios or if they have any info on the voltage resetting to default problem.

Mine does this. P/// 600E on an Asus P3C2000 board.

Absolutely will not boot at 159 FSB cold, but will run there all day if I restart the system and up the FSB the second time thru.

Never could figure this out.....156 cold, 159 hot.

*sigh* One of life's great "mysteries", I guess.......
