changing out fans in my psu

alright, ive got the antec 480 trueblue psu. i dont like the stock fans as they dont push out much air, so i want to replace them with panaflo fans. so before i take apart the psu, how do the fans get their power, is it a 3 pin or is it directly wired?

also, im starting to get annoyed by the blue lights in the psu, so how would i go about disabling them, would i just disconnect the wires or what?

Before you go replacing the fans you might want to consider this:

If you want to disable the LED's, look for the thin wires leading to each LED and cut them.
