hello all, i have a question which i realise wont have a straight forward answer, but i just wanted to get some opinions on it, im running my memory at 230mhz with 11,2,2,2 timings, its in dual mode on an nf7-s, what im wondering is if it would be better to losen the timings and run 11,3,3,2 at 235mhz like i had it before, but not really stable which might be a mobo issue - ill be watercooling it soon and doing a proper volt mod, also what volts would be safe to run it at, or what do you run yours at, and will removing the corsair heatsink and putting something chunkier on help?

2-2-2-11 at 230 mhz is gonna be better than 235 at 2-3-3-11, generally keeping your RAS-CAS and Row-Precharge latencies at 2 will almost always give you more performance than a few more mhz, now if it were a more significant fsb gain, then it might be a bit more questionable. I'd run a series of different benchmarks and find out your optimum balance.

ya i think u should leave it at 2-2-2-11 especially since 2-3-3-11 isnt stable.

Just one question- what Corsair do you have?
Is it still the PC3200LL?
then i m impressed--- and take them too. That's the question to me atm, the corsair 3200LL for 125 or the Kingston hyperX 3000LL for just 107...
so long,

Kamui

no, there xms3500 version 1.1, i think, bought 1 got 1 on ebay for half price, they do perform well beyond thier specs, i think they are bh-5 chips? that work well with nforce2, not sure though, there are a lot of threads on it in here.
