Whats up with this? I ordered some arctic silver 5 exactly 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been shipped to me. I bought it through bestbyte.net and it came with free 1st class USPS shipping. Is waiting this long normal for usps? I checked out their website and they said that I can only ask them to reship it if it was lost 1 calender month after I ordered the product.
Oh man, I miss newegg's shipping and reliability...:(
if only they gave free shipping on thermal paste.
im sorry i read this and i jsut started laughing so hard.

2 weeks is a long time but I have had Arctic silver go missing 3+ weeks and still arrive... If bestbyte sent it 2 weeks ago and it didn't turn up don't blame them, blame the postal service...

Normally I would suggest buying Arctic Silver 5 from SVC, due to the fact it's $4.99 shipped. But SVC screwed up two of my orders this month where I needed Nanotherm SILVER XTC for my Silver Paste article. Twice those meatheads at SVC send me PCM+ instead of Silver XTC. Nanotherm Silver XTC does have silver as an additive and I needed a brand new tube for my photo layout (http://www.overclockers.com/articles938/pic1a.jpg). But SVC hosed me on that one, they claimed they resent the order but I am still waiting...
These days I am telling people to get Artic Silver products at Jab-Tech (http://www.jab-tech.com/customer/home.php?cat=52) John at Jab-tech ships fast and he helps a bunch of Overclockers overseas get equiptment. He also has very cheap shipping rates.

HAHAHA BEAT YOU...
However in reality they guy shouldn't have to buy from anywhere else, he bought from bestbyte and it got lost... If there policy is to wait for 4 weeks to see if it turns up then thats what you have to do.. I have so far only had one AS5 get lost in the mail, however as a vendor using first class mail is a risk, there is no tracking and if you bought from me and said it was lost I have no way of proving it was lost and you have no way of proving you are just being a wise ass and trying to get extra AS5 out of me for free.
I just checked out bestbyte and they do offer alot of shipping options, you chose the cheapest you have to wait it out.. If you want newegg service pay newegg price (Sorry I am on bestbytes side here!).

Bestbyte is located in TX, if you are more than a couple of states away, I would give it another week. average time of first class mail from Cali-->Kansas=12-15days, and maybe a few more if there is bad weather etc. So I would wait another week before thinkin it is lost, and next time use usps priority mail, Cali-->Kansas=less than 48hours (if shipped the same day). Never use first Class, if it is lost and they reship it, have them ship it priority.
BTW, my time examples are to show how much faster priority is if you live more than a few states away.

YAAAA, recieved my AS5 in the mail today. Wow, it's super tiny! I know I can cover lots of cpu dies with it but I was surprised with how small it is. I'm really really glad its here because now I can assemble my computer when I recieve everything this weekend.
The thing's so tiny, Best-byte probably could've put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it, and mailed it to me for 37 cents (maybe get it here quicker too)... I know that there may be regulations on how much contents can weigh inside an envelope to use normal stamps when shipping, but the tube is so small, people might not notice...:D :D
EDIT: Oh yeah, thanks for the support!!!! (Which goes to those people who tried to help me instead of laughing at me. ) ;)
