I'm desperate.

My config:

Enlight 520 Watts
2x512 XMS Corsair
Asus GFx5200
Zalman Cpu cooler
Lian-li PC61
2xSamsung (supposingly raid1)
1xMaxtor IDE
1xPlextor DVD writer 8x.

No beeps nothing!

Monitor goes on for one second then goes back in standby.
Sometimes I get it to post with some drastic change like
connecting an really old PSU without drives.
Oh, this is my 2nd board, I RMA'd the first as it gave me no-post
as well but also cmos errors.

Please help!

:(

Reseat the cpu again/ had the same problem here, can't hurt.

I think I found it:

I checked the bottom of the CPU and was found a few pins bent and then closer looked found one pin was broken off!
The worst part is the pin was stuck in the MB socket!
So I have to replace the MB AND the CPU. :bawl:

The CPU was the only thing I didn't check because it just stated one time "cpu check failed" and then I never came back until this morning. Then everything was clear.

thats normal for the out of range even my 9700 does taht when i first turn on the comp then it turns on weird.... never had a card that did that ati proved it otherwise :p
