I'm afraid not so..
I just have found out about the BX6 Rev.2 mobo and it only supports upto 700mhz on P3 slot1s. Even with the updated BIOS flash, it won't support 750mhz. Therefore you might have problems or it may not run at all since the mobo's clock multiplier control is stuck at 7x.

It certainly should. You would have to set-up the bios via user define though.

You can completely ignore the multiplyer issue with intel and as long as the board supports the cpu's microcode then you are in business, even if it doesn't you may be in luck, my board aparantely only supported a 600mhz p3 katmai core and only had an 8x multiplyer, yet I managed to run a celeron 600 (coppermine) at 900mhz in it and it worked perfectly, I would say though that you are better off getting the fc-pga chip and a slocket as these tend to be more compatible (slot 1 coppermines don't work on my board) and you will also have better voltage options on the slocket.

Yes, it does work definitely. I run a 750 fcpga in a bx6 R2, but I do not use the slotket settings at all, just the "User Define" options in bios. Be sure to disable "Stop on error" in the bios or the boot will give an error message everytime you try to start up.

BTW, my retail box 750 runs 1 gig at 1.75 v. Prime95 stable! Good luck.
