The glory days of my card (type) are past, and its not a bad thing.
My score (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7542696)
Specs:
2600+ @ 194x12.0, 1.775V, 46C Load
Asus A7N8X Dlx 2.0 bios 1007
512 Corsair XMS 3200C2 (1 stick) 6-3-3-2T 2.6V
Radeon 9500PRO flashed bios, omega drivers @ 319/297 (core/mem), agp vdd @1.6, infinium 3.3 mem.
Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
WD 40.0 special edition
XP Pro

I seem to have hit the wall so to speak, and with the modded card it's hard to find comparisons... is it a decent score? Any suggestions for improvement (not hardware).

lower that mulitplier and up that FSB u can hit 15K easy aslo the 6 on your timings put to 8 or 11

well, I dropped the multi to 11.5 (down .5), changed the mem timing to 8 and ran 3dmark01 and posted a mere 140**, but couldn't publish due to "detected variation in cpu speed". I added another .025V (effectively running at 1.8V) and I can't get 3dmark to complete the tests. I lowered the core and mem on my card to 317/295, with no changes... help?

changed the mem timing to 11, and after a couple tries, 3dmark01 completed
My score (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7545653)
unfortunately, its a lower score, but with a couple more fsb points, it should get better.... right?

Encratic, will your Corsair XMS memory run 11-2-2-2? Try upping the Vmem to 2.8 or so. The tighter memory timings should help your 3dmark01 score some.

Also, how high can you run your FSB? 200, 210, 220? The higher the better of course.

Have you done all the video driver tweaks (max performance, disable AA, disable AF, disable FOG)? What about the Windows tweaks (shutdown as many programs and services as possible)?

Does disable fog help on nvidia and ati?

I would try 2 2 2 11 timing as edward sugested and also see if you cant get a higher fsb like 210 maybe with a lower muilpier. Try 11x210 with vcore @1.8 or so and timing on ream 2 2 2 11 with highest voltage option in bios.

Ahhhh.
This memory officially hates 2-2-2-11, and 2.8 volts. Got a bios checksum error at 2-2-2-11, and fatal system bsod at 2.8 volts. and nothing good in between.

now for the fsb...

i'm at 200x11.0, 1.8V. mem @ 11-2-2-2, 2.6V. Video @ 317/295.
can't run 3dmark01. Suggestions? It usually crashes to the desktop, but otherwise I get a "bad pool caller" or something bsod for about .5 sec, then it reboots.

200 seems to have worked out its differences now... it took lowering the video clocks by about 5MHz on each side (core and mem), but it's stable... except in 3d mode, can't seem to run 3dmark for crap.

Encratic, I assume that you have the AGP/PCI bus locked so that you are not running them too far out of spec.

I'm not sure what is causing the 3d problems. You might try lowering your memory timings back to 11-3-3-2, just to make sure that it is not your memory. You could also try running Memtest86 to test your memory at 200 MHz. That way you would know for sure.

I am running locked, and I did put the timings back to 11-3-3-2.
3dmark seems to poop out in 3d mode. PCmark04 runs fine until the video tests and then it just drops out to the desktop. I could not even load the bios at 11-2-3-2, and I could not get a stable os at 11-3-2-2, so 11-2-2-2 was out of the question. Now that I think of it, perhaps it was skipping from 2.6 to 2.8 volts that caused the problem... but thats just a guess. I'm back at 194x12.0 and 11-3-3-2... perhaps its just the fate of getting a 2600 before i knew the 2500 was better and a single stick of ram instead of twinx. and then there's the problem of a rather cheap codegen 450W PSU.... but I just need to spend some money on better hardware.

I m using my 9500pro @ 350/300 daily. And i can go upto 410/345 with no mods. I think you can go over 320 with a proper cooling.
