Hi All

just got a Abit SA6R board and put my celeron 733 on it. I would like to get a bit more out of the CPU if I can, the system is

Abit SA6R
Celeron 733
320 mb pc100 memory
Gigabyte Gforce 2MX 32MB
40 gig fujitsu ata 100 HD

any help on how to clock it and how fast - much appreciated.

Good luck. If you need instruction on overclocking, visit:

www.tomshardware.com

there's a neat overclockers guide that should explain it all.

as long as your components can handle it then on an around a 80-90mhz fsb you should be able to get around 900mhz-1ghz, but you will need to make sure your components can handle an out of spec bus speed, or settle for slightly under spec bus speeds, you will also need a reasonable cooler like the FOP 32 or equivalent and you made new up to 1.9v
