Hey all, thought I'd hit you up for some advice.
I built my current rig about a year or so ago. I think I failed to research my mobo properly, though, and am looking to upgrade it.
I'd like to keep using my P4 2.53 (533fsb) processor, since I will never do a better job of painting on heatsink as long as I live. I would also like to continue to have my RAID controller on board. It'd also be nice to have decent audio on-board, though I know this is hard to find.
My current mobo is a SOYO P4S-645DX-Dragon ULTRA. I think it does not fully support my 533fsb, and it does not have AGP 8x. Memory is a bit slow these days as well (I think DDR333 max).
Some folks have mentioned the nForce2 chipset in some other threads, but it looks like it does not have actual 533 fsb support, maybe I am wrong.
Gaming is the focus, though I do alot more video and graphic work as I get older.
