Does anyone have any experiences with Nexus power supplies, especially the NX-3500? I haven't read a lot about them.

I really like the 120mm fan, and the colours look pretty weird. And it doesn't look like one of those cheapo manufacturers.

This particular Nexus happens to be a Fortron 350w (UL File number e190414)... it's a good one :)

The same number appears on the 400W version they offer (80mm fan). Where can you reference this number to the exact model used?

Over at the UL website... this link will take you right to it: http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/gfilenbr.html

Thanks. I guess you can't determine the exact model by this number, right? Because FSP makes several 400W power supplies which all fall under the same UL number.

Unfortunately no... CWT's certification page for example lists dozens of models, some of which they no longer even make.

At least the brand info is a good start. I noticed the Nexus 400 is an 80mm version. They should repackage the new 120mm version... that'd be interesting. :)

I've never seen these power supplies for sale on any sites, where can you find them?

I saw them locally, here: http://www.comptechworld.nl/nieuwshop/winkel_64.shtml bottom of the list.
It's a Dutch company, so I guess USA supply is limited. Then again, FSP supplies can be found on every streetcorner in America. ;)

Yeah, supply is limited right now. But they just opened a Canadian branch, so I guess they're trying to enter the North American market. They'll probably be available everywhere soon when resellers start picking them up.
But since it's a Fortron, I won't bother waiting for them and I'll go for the Fortron instead. Thanks for the replies! ;)
