my computer has been crashing when ive been sleeping and i couldnt figure out the reason why so today i loaded up memtest while i was going out to find that it had only ran for a hour and a half when i got back! so i rebooted and tried to go back into windows and it would give me a critical error i thought it was the harddrive at first because it seemed to have turned off so i rebooted again and opened ie and it froze i couldnt restart so i just powered down. removed the 2nd stick and put it in single channel and now everything seems to be normal could it be because my memory cant run in dual channel? is there anyway i can rma it to get sticks that can run in dual channel? TIA!

Well how about a little more info?

What is your V-Dimm, and what is your memory speed and timmings?

The 2700 Ram is only rated at 166mhz.
