This is quite true. I personally have never done this, but several people in here have requested this info.

I don't know exactly where to find the info you seek, but I can tell you if you read back through the posts in this topic, you will find the info you need to do this.

Welcome to the forums, btw.....

ok it worked got the voltage to 1.94v and ran very stable at 808 mhz but the fsb is only at 77mhz with this program called easytune 3 it came with the mainboard now on the board is a place where jumpers should be but were never put on at the manufactuer if i add some jumpers myself to increase the fsb to at leaste 100mhz would this be advisible right now at 808mhz i runat 23 deg. celcius under full load

Syntax, what Gigabyte board do you have ? I have the GA-6OXM7E, has a jumper on the board...i think it's JP25,when shorted, gives you an extra 10% on voltage as well.

Quick question here Syntax, don't know if you have the manual for your mobo, but you need to use 3 sets of jumpers in conjunction with each other on the
GA-6OXM7E in order to get the fsb that you want, you basically have a choice of 66, 100 & 133 by means of the jumper configuration....JP10, JP11 & JP 25...obviously you will know that all other fsb setting are controlled via the Easytune utility that ships with the CD for the mobo and can push the fsb to approx 153....
Strange that your board does not seem to have the jumpers to enable or change fsb setting, what revision is your mobo ? BTW, if you don't have the mobo manual, pop me a mail and i'll send you a scanned image showing the jumpers and config settings...

Oh btw, i forgot to answer your question regarding the soldering part.....i suppose if you're an expert at soldering etc.....personnally i wouldn't try it, if the area around the where you're attempting to solder gets too hot, could cause some damage to your board, just my opinnion anyway...
